Apparently this is due to the artistic technique but it creates a monotonous and gimmicky feel. There are also some additional shots of a woman which are in a snapshot, blurred style that feel very unlike the landscape images. The whole effect is odd and dark but not in a good way. I actually like the cover image a lot but the rest of the book doesn't hold up. I like very much this photographer, but this book is one work which I really don’t understand/like.
